Bloom now supports merge tags in emails. If you aren't familiar with merge tags, they allow you to insert dynamically personalized content into any customer emails you send from Bloom.

Supported merge tags

Currently, Bloom supports the following merge tags:

  • Customer's last 4 credit card digits: {{card_last4}}
  • Customer's shipping address, on two lines: {{shipping_address_html}}
  • Club name: {{club_name}} 
  • Club Level name: {{club_level}} 
  • The date in which a membership was cancelled: {{cancel_date}}

Here's an example of how you could use merge tags in an email:

Text with merge tags

We've processed your wine club shipment using your credit card ending in {{card_last4}}. Your shipment will be delivered via FedEx to this address:
